Fairly often, a girl would give up the performance and functionality for a fancy pink laptop. Compare to Dell, the Sony VAIO laptop have higher style, higher spec, and of course higher price. Most of them have a starting price of $1000 and above, with the exception of CR and NR series. The most appropriate place to inquire the detail specs and price for the Sony VAIO laptops is the Sony official website, and if you purchase a VAIO laptop from Sony official site, you could even personalize it by engraving your name or other wording of your choice on the laptops notebooks!

A new trend in the laptops notebooks industry, starting from last year, is the netbook, which refers to a category of small-sized, low-cost, light weight, lean function sub-notebooks optimized for Internet access and core computing functions. Asus Eee PC is the first netbook brought in to the market, and since its release, the blush pink version of Eee PC is noted to be the best seller in most retailers. This year, a series of new netbooks from other brands such as MSI Wind, Acer Aspire One, Fujitsu Amilo Mini, Lenovo IdeaPad S10, etc. were introduced. From what we observed, almost all of them are/will be available in pink. So if web surfing, word processing, and other core computing functions were all the tasks that you will be doing on your laptop, a pink netbook would be a great alternative to think about.
